Lotus Mansory partnership

British sports car firm Lotus joins forces with tuning firm Mansory to produce official tuned models

Mansory will supply parts and modify Lotus cars as part of the British car maker’s Official Customisation Studio. The German tuner will produce range of options for the Elise, Exige and Evora, including bodywork, trim and ‘special finishes’.

“Mansory is a leader in its field,” explained Wolf Zimmerman, Chief Technical Officer for Group Lotus. "And having worked closely with Mansory on the Evora GTE and the special editions we’ve unveiled recently, we wish to now take the partnership to an official level."

The Evora GTE appeared at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, and was the first collaboration between the two companies.

Mansory owner Kourosh Mansory said: “As the official Lotus customisation studio, we amplify the existing options with harmonically designed aerodynamics and ultra-light aluminium rims. High-quality accessories and stylish interior fittings complete the Mansory assortment.”

The first product of the official collaboration will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show this September.
