Toyota Verso video review

We've been to the launch of the new Toyota Verso to deliver our definitive verdict on the revised MPV

The Verso is a relatively slow-selling model for Toyota in the UK. The Vauxhall Zafira outsells it six to one, and the Japanese carmaker is hoping a revised version will help reclaim at least part of the market.

The good news is it is cheaper, better looking and more efficient than the car it replaces, and a clever flexible seating system means there are 32 different configurations to suit every eventuality.

The range starts at £17,495 with the Active spec, and all cars get LED rear lights, electric heated door mirrors and air conditioning. Top of the range Excel cars upgrade to 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic lights and wipers and keyless start.

There’s a range of petrol and diesel engines, as well as manual and automatic transmissions.

So check out our video and in-depth car review for our definitive verdict on the new Toyota Verso MPV.
