Only complaints are:
a) Being unable to maintain a constant motorway speed of 70mph -it was either climbing or losing speed, which isn't a problem I've ever had before.

b) And also the brake pedal is far too sensitive, anything more than thinking of braking results in an emergency stop! Which is hairy in hi-speed motorway traffic. -And the force of braking caused me to inadvertantly apply more brake pressure, when I was only trying to slow a little to let someone out of their lane!

c) Not enough lumber support, or abilty to adjust lumber support on a relatively high-spec car.

Otherwise, was happily suprised with build quality of a Peugeot.

I am very happy with the car's performance and style. The fuel economy is reasonable and the size (207 SW) is practical for my needs. The back seats are not spacious but my wife's disability scooter fits easily in the hatchback. Apart from the single problem with the automatic transmission (2 defective solenoids) I have no reasons to complain.

Forget the Peugeot bashers! The 207 GT is a cracking car with reliable mechanicals (BMW/Mini co-developed the diesel engine). The build quality is faultless and the handling is superb. With the cielo roof and 17in alloys, it looks the dogs danglies...

Good practical car with low running costs, good performance and and reliability. The fault with the car should have been rectified before I purchased it but was repaired under warranty.

Generally excellent, although the driving position is not perfect and there is not enough space between the clutch pedal and the footrest. Rear legroom is tight.
