Alfa Mito and Giulietta updated with new trim levels

The Mito and Giulietta get flagship Collezione and sporty Sprint Speciale trim additions, priced from £17,660 and £23,320 respectively

Alfa Romeo has unveiled two new trim levels to breathe new life into its Giulietta and Mito ranges. The Giulietta gets a racier Sprint Speciale trim, while both cars are now available in range topping Collezione trim that focuses on adding luxury.

The Sprint Speciale (from £23,320) is an enhancement of the regular Sprint model and comes with sports suspension, Brembo brakes, 17in alloy wheels, Quadrifoglio sports seats and aluminium pedals. Additional kit includes dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors, cruise control, silver facia trim and Alfa’s 'Visibility pack’.

The Giulietta Sprint Speciale can be had with the 1.4-litre TB MultiAir 148bhp petrol mated to a standard six-speed manual or TCT twin clutch auto, while the 2.0 JTDM-2 diesel is also available with 148bhp or 173bhp, priced from £24,180.

The range-topping Collezione version offers a more luxurious experience. The Mito Collezione (from £17,660) is fitted with 17-inch bronze-effect alloy wheels and matching bronze door mirrors. The Mito’s headlights and taillights are fitted with satin-effect surrounds.

The Mito cabin benefits from leather trim, Collezione cloth, Uconnect NAV infotainment system with TomTom navigation, DAB radio and split-fold rear seats. The model is further differentiated from the rest of the range with brown stitching to the flat-bottomed steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake gaiter.

Engines available in the Mito are the 0.9-litre TwinAir Turbo petrol producing 104bhp and a 1.4-litre turbo petrol producing 138bhp. The 1.4 is fitted with the TCT auto box as standard.

Adding to the existing Exclusive trim, the Giulietta Collezione (from £24,820) adds a gloss black roof with matching door mirrors, front and rear parking sensors and new 18in alloy wheels. The cabin gets Collezione heated leather seats, DAB radio and a 6.5in Uconnect navigation system.

One petrol and two diesels engines are offered on this trim level; 1.4-litre TB MultiAir turbo developing 168bhp. It’s also offered with both versions of the 2.0 JTDM-2 diesel engine.
