Its a great car, nice to drive, smooth and responsive, having the sport pack on the car does make it a bit rough on the roads round here, but on well maintained roads its wonderful.
The handling is precise with a good sense of feedback and the sports seats really help hold you in place throwing it round corners.
The back seats are a bit cramped behind the drivers seat, but thats because i have it as far back as it goes.
The boot is a great size and comfortably handles a big monthly shop at the supermarket, although having the rear seats able to fold down would be handy.
The only thing i would moan about is the lack of traction control, the lack of cruise control and the fact the horn doesn't sound when the alarm is triggered, but since i didn't buy the car new, i cant really complain.
Overall im very happy with it, and next time i'll be buying an A6 just for the extra space.

My car is very reliable and well built. There are some 'buts' though. I have a Sportline model and I would never buy another one. The ride is very hard and I find the steering heavy - it really does need speed sensitive power steering. It has lots of performance (2.0 litre turbodiesel) and the handling is excellent. The seats are nowhere near as comfortable as those in my previous car (Volvo). Servicing is expensive - if infrequent. My car doesn't chew oil as others have found. Finally I think Audi is very mean with accesories. I insisted on having cruise control fitted (retro-fitted as it was an option on the sportline model) and folding rear seats are an optional extra. If Volvo can provide these things included in the price why on earth can't Audi?

The A4 is lovely to drive even if it's not lovely to be driven in (or carry coffee in!) since the ride is very firm indeed. I'd not buy another car so end to a production run though - the fact that VAG re-released the same car as a Seat Exeo has completely put me off the brand. It totally devalues it in my eyes. Also devalues my car I suspect! Silly decision and makes me suspicious that Audi isn't really in the same bracket as BMW or Mercedes. I paid BMW money for it so might as well have the BMW next time in my opinion.
I really like the new 5 series; since it'll be a while before there are 2-3 year old used F10 Touring examples out there I'll have my A4 for a while yet. And that's far from a bad thing issues with VAG aside.

I have the 3.0 diesel Quattro S line. Best all rounder I have ever had.
Great blend of Performance, low running costs, high MPG, build quality and 4x4 grip.
V6 Diesel is one of best I have experienced (specially after re-map). Most
passengers assume it is a petrol.
Biggest failing for me is ride. Low profile tyres don't help but suspension/damping isn't as good as it should be.
Air con has been re-gassed 5 times under warranty. Rattling D pillar trim
drove me mad but was sorted under warranty. No probs now.
To sum up: Not as competent a car as my old BMW 330 Ci sport but as an
all weather, all rounder I find it hard to beat. Steep snow covered hills
failed to defeat it

My Audi A4 S-Line is without a doubt a great vehicle. Looks and style and refined. The extra's that have been added such as adaptive cruise control, multimedia interface, and bluetooth integration all add to it's appeal. The only downside that i feel needs to be addressed is the poor satellite navigation software used by Audi, if i were to be completely honest it is awful, and for the price that it cost to have installed i really think it could be a lot better.
So all in all the Audi A4 S-line is a great car and i can safely say the nicest car i have owned to date.

You need to understand that this is the A4 Sport Cabriolet with 3-litre V6 diesel engine and every extra known to man except automatic transmissiom. Therefore it is everything you could want - drop-top sports car, 4WD mud- and snow-beater, smooth comfortable 5-seater GT saloon, perfect blend of power and economy. Only negative is the lack of feel and precision from the steering. My best car ever and In intend it to be my last!

Still drives like new now with 90K miles compared to when I just got it (10K miles). Ride quality excellent, really sticks to the road. Excellent economical and powerful 1.9TDi engine. My estate version very practical with 2 kids with lots of boot space. feels very sound, solid and upmarket despite being 8 years old. Would have no hesitation buying a similar one with that age. Would recommend to anyone.

my audi out performs my overall expectations last year our holiday to cornwall witch is so far my longest journey passed with no problems and driving in top at 60 mph returned better than 60 mpg overall a big saving from my previous car. my only tiny niggel is the passanger rear area, the center housing restricts passanger ride comfort especialy as i have 3 under 10 children.

A great looking car that really comes into its own in the summer - its an A4 convertable. And in the depths of winter it's as warm and feels as strong as an A4 saloon. Not much room in the back for passenagers of any age - but its the price you pay for a stylist convertible. Driving position is excellent, much better that the A5 I'm considering as its replacement.

A4 Avant 3.0 TDI Quattro : Very practical ' real world ' super car.
Good for everyday, good performance, with snow tyres goes anywhere in the snow. Brilliant all round car. Shame current A4 is flawed by lack of full size spare wheel and too firm ride. I would not be willing to buy current model because of these flaws.

Audi A4 1.8T S-Line - Very comfortable, nice power, stylish design - not flash. Negatives - very hard on petrol, arm rest too big - gets in way of the handbrake and gear stick when driving in town.
