excellant styling, gets a lot of looks even though the model has been out for 3 years. fuel ecconomy got better after 5000 miles. the seats aren't the best in the world for long journeys but are supportive and grip you well, but most cars seats are designed for mr average and i'm 6'3". boot space is good for a coupe. it is hard to park the car in a space then be able to get out of it as the doors are very thick and long. could do with more toys as standard. options are expensive from audi

I love the TT, it is so much more practical than you would think due to the folding rear seats. The dealer happily fixed any issue under warranty which included sticking door handles, sticking spoiler and an engine misfire. The dealer did seem to take an expensive approach to warranty repairs though; rather than oiling the spoiler as i would have expect they replaced the whole unit which seemed unnecessary.

Audi's standard efficiency shines through day after day, even with over 90k on the clock. With fuel prices somewhere in the clouds, you can only flinch when entering a filling station and as for parts, official audi parts are expensive but other companies do supply what I have found to be equally as competent parts for half the price. I guess it is a case of looking around to find the best deal.

Great car, marred by poor visibility particularly over the shoulder, and dealer problems. Also, 4x4 drivers find it difficult to see because it is so low, especially when parking. Service from Audi dealers is very expensive, except for absolutely routine/standard servicing. They now charge for courtesy cars - a daily charge plus a mileage charge.

It has stalled unexpectedly sometimes, and the clutch has slipped on a few occasions as well. It get through a lot of fuel, tyres are expensive. even a chipped alloy rim is expensive and I had to have a new grill fitted (which was damaged from when I purchased the car) which was a very expensive piece of plastic.

I absolutely adore it. When I had my daughter I thought I would have to get rid of it and the thought broke my heart, then a car seat specialist told me there was no reason why I couldn't have my daughter in the front as the car seat was just as safe so I'm so glad I get to keep my dream car!

Audi released the TT until 2003 with a known Dash Pod fault, no recall issued and they will not stand by the part unless the original owner. At £800 + it makes it an expensive fault, which should have been recalled... The only downside to owning a pre 2003 TT!

Typical audi reliability & build quality. solid, but bland. A new sat of four tyres cost just shy of ł1k. too much for a smal, two seater car. parts are too expensive. fuel economy is worse than my previous vauxhall astra with the same size & power engine.

I adore my iconic wee motor. It suits my personality, the Bose sound system is fab, and, being a Quattro, it's even good in today's snow.
TT stands for 'tremendously trendy'.
PS My pupils love it too...they think it's 'cheeky'.

Never had a problem. I chose 3.2 litre as my milage is low and the fuel cost was not a great issue. the road tax is expensive but once again was built in to my budgeting as was the service charges.

I love my TT - it's a limited edition Mk1 and I fantastic to drive.....the 1800 turbo engine is also reasonably economical for a car of this kind. No regrets buying it - would buy it again.

Nothing goes wrong (touch wood). It's expensive on fuel, obviously, but the fun more than makes up for it, plus with the box in auto and a lighter foot it's not so bad in traffic.

Audi TT 2.0 TDI quattro Coupe. The best car I've owned, absolutely brilliant car with a good size boot. Albeit it's just me and the wife now. Better than BMW 3 Series 2.0 Diesel.

The TT is the car I never knew I wanted until I bought it. It then has surpassed all and any of my expectations and I'm still in love with my TT. I intend to keep it for ever!!!

No problems from new. The relativelylow mpg was offset by the relatively low milage, the parts (and tyres) are relatively expensivebut I have not had to buy anything (yet).

Everything the book said, extras that are standard with other makes are very expensive, i previously had a Honda Tourer which was a dream car with every imaginable extra

For a sports car, for two people, it has a suprising amount of boot space and is always fun to drive. Fairly economical as well, if not driven too enthusiastically!

So far I have had only one problem which was dealt with by the audi warrenty. It's a prestige car with a large engine, therefore it is not economical to run.
