Entertainment pack adds integrated iPads, huge screens and a computer to the Bentley Mulsanne

If the 'standard' £220,000 Bentley Mulsanne simply isn't plush enough for you, then a new option pack revealed in Frankfurt could be just the ticket.

Expected to cost roughly £100,000 over and above the standard price of the car, this entertainment and connectivity package is really rather special, and puts Bentley leagues ahead of the competition when it comes to interior customisation.

Intergrated beautifully into the tray tables are a pair of iPads for the rear passengers. At the push of a button, the iPad, complete with Bluetooth keyboard, rises from the back of the front seats. A bespoke app allows you to control your audio and video sources and reading light, while another huge drop-down screen is fitted into the roof lining. This is powered by a 320GB mini Mac computer stored neatly in a retractable drawer in the boot. The car is hooked up with wi-fi throughout, so accessing the Internet is only the click of a button away.

Also included in the package, and available for the first time on the Mulsanne, is a rear centre console creating two individual seats in the back. Open the console up and there's an iPod dock, a tissue box and a fridge with an electrically-retractable door - very James Bond.
