Fine in a straight line and in the dry but wobbly in the wet and corners are a bit too exciting after a front wheel drive car - and don't even mention snow. This care does not do snow - so what happens in Bavaria? Surely it's time BMW join the real world and produce a front or 4 wheel drive road car. And don't tell me 'it's a driver's car" - first and foremost I wnat a car I can rely on gettign me somewhere regardless of weather, then I can think about having some fun. Should have bought an Audi!

Handling and driver comfort excellent. Dissapointed with having to change Pirelli euphoria runflat tyres after a mileage of only 15,500 ! Steering lock yellow warning light appearing from time to time ! At one time this turned to red.....fixed under warranty....but yellow warning light still appearing occasionally !!!

I think on the whole the BMW 1series is a great hatch, the driving position is spot on and the handling is very direct. Would definately consider a BMW again. BMW build quality does live up to its reputation and the stlye and quality are both fantastic especially for the price.

135i M sport coupe. Great car, but quite limited in choice of tyres. Ride quality can be a little harsh around town but otherwise the car is perfect, very fast and very enjoyable. Not the best looking coupe, but perfromance more than makes up for that.

Very impressed with BMW build quality compared to other manufacturers. The driving experience is always good if not exceptional, although wet weather handling could be better. Interior comfort is superb, with everything close to hand.

Brilliant, I have driven a3s and golfs, 1 series is best in class for certain, I'll be sad to see it go. Only issue was with frameless windows, not going down when closing the doors (3dr).
