We've seen the concept - now take a look at the real thing... BMW's new showroom-ready Z4 M Coupé. And it has more than a dash of the firm's Formula One racer about it!
A steam-powered 3-Series? Surely just a lot of hot air! Well, no... and it could be on sale within a decade.
It's the news performance car fans were waiting to hear - BMW has given its Z4 Coupé the green light! And off the starting blocks comes not only a 3.0-litre model, but an M Coupé, too.
Fans of big BMWs are sure to be in "Seven heaven" with the daring replacement for the 7-Series executive saloon shown in this week's mag.
BMW 3-Series was named Scottish Car of the Year by Association of Scottish Motoring Writers (ASMW). The prize was given for its "spaciousness and class-leading mix of petrol and diesel engines".
With no less than 15 cars designed by famous artists in the past, using motors as canvas is nothing new to BMW. Among the celebrated names it's worked with have been Andy War-hol and David Hockney, whose creation is pictured here.
