Best Car I have had ( I had an M3 before this). Does everything I want, and 4 wheel drive has nmade this last month very easy.
Having tried all the othe SUV's around Millbrook - this has the best handling and overal performance/economy. Range Rovers are too heavy and therefore thirsty.

My X5 has a great combination of luxury and performance - it has great 'presence' and often turns heads.
This is the 3rd X5 we have owned - have always consiedered alternatives but the X5 ticks all the boxes for us.

for a 4x4 (on road) it is fantastic. We as a business own 10 Discovery's and I would still pick the X5 over them on the road. Off road no contest but who would take a £55k car off road!!!!!

Good 4x4 to drive, have had others. Too many electrics i.e electric handbrake and glove compartment door!!
Car could be an electrics nightmare when 8-10 years old

Fantastic performance and handling. The build quality, paintwork etc. is very good as to be expected by BMW.
The V8 is thirsty but that was to be expected.

Excellent handling etc for the size of vehicle. Suffers from the perception other people have of the people that drive such models.

It is a great all round vehicle for comfort, performance and load capacity and gives you great confidence in all conditions.
