The petrol war hots up as Shell announces 'V-Power' fuel

Shell has launched a new high-performance petrol called V-Power. Developed with the Ferrari Formula One team, it has a 99-Ron octane rating for improved power and throttle response.

The fuel contains Friction Modification Technology, which is used in race cars to provide better lubrication. V-Power also has a special cleaning formula that's said to remove engine deposits.
