Land Rover residuals are solid, despite impending town tax legislation

Resale values at Land Rover have a mountain to climb, but experts say they are already reaching new heights. There’s a 12-month waiting list for the new V8 diesel Range Rover (image), ensuring strong residuals, while the latest Freelander is set to put in a class-leading performance. Glass’s Guide predicts that after three years and 60,000 miles, the Freelander 2 Td4 GS will retain 48 per cent of its value. This puts it ahead of its BMW X3 and Toyota RAV4 rivals.
