The Detroit Motor Show may be dominating the headlines at the moment but there are other goings on in the motoring world. The Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS) is presented each year on the second Friday in January and famed for its customising scene.
It's the world’s third largest tuning and customising car show behind America’s SEMA and Germany’s Essen.
Highlighted by two world premieres and countless domestic launches, TAS 2014 drew a reported 300,000 visitors through the gates of the Makuhari Messe complex, just east of Tokyo. Check out the gallery above to see the highlights of the show.
