The Los Angeles Motor Show will see the unveiling of 25 world new cars and concepts when it kicks off on 28 November. But, even before the covers have started coming off, manufacturers have begun to release details and pictures of their new metal.
Mercedes has already shown off the most extreme road-going SLS yet, with the new SLS AMG Black Series. The 622bhp model gets race-inspired tweaks, like a new aerodynamic bodykit and titanium exhaust set-up, plus a few weight saving measures that bring the kerbweight down by 70kg.
The German firm has also got an all-new concept on its stand, with the Ener-G-Force off-roader. It gets G-Class-inspired looks and should hint at what Mercedes’ next generation of SUVs will look like.
But while we’ve seen official shots of a few of the LA debuts, some manufacturers have only hinted at what they’ve got in store.
The extreme Jaguar XFR-S has only been spied so far, but look out for the full production version in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Porsche has said that it has a ‘new compact sports car’ on its stand in LA, so we’re expecting to see an all-new Cayman.
