It gets plastic cladding on the front and rear bumpers - just like the Panda Trekking - and gets a unique black and brown interior. Fiat’s Uconnect system comes as standard, offering voice commands for the audio system and music streaming over Bluetooth.
Like the rest of the 500L range, it will debut with a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine, while a 1.3-litre diesel will also be offered. Fiat’s two-cylinder TwinAir is also likely to join the range.
The Fiat 500L Trekking will go on sale in mid-2013 with prices expected to start from around £17,000.
