A decent but unspectacular result. Reliability is the AstraÂ’'s strongest quality, and 31st overall in this sector is good given how many compact family cars are out there. The Vauxhall hatch does well dynamically, too, with handling, brakes and ride all gaining adequate scores. Sadly, it doesnÂ’'t measure up for comfort or practicality. Despite being well proportioned, a lack of space-saving features is starting to dim the AstraÂ’'s appeal. Maybe the recent facelift will help it raise its game next year.
