When the latest Grande Punto was introduced in 2005, Fiat really upped its game – and it needed to. The previous-generation supermini propped up the Top 100 in 2006 and 2007, and although it’s now up by one place – largely due to 20th for running costs – 99th position overall is nothing to be proud of. Build quality was rated as the worst in the survey.
