The original Scenic remains one of the most versatile cars around as far as you’re concerned, picking up a 15th place finish for practicality – hugely impressive given the age of the design. But poor scores in nearly every other area drag it down to 91st overall. In particular, owners complained of shoddy build and poor reliability, and the Renault finishes a lowly 98th for handling and 93rd for ease of driving.
