Honda Accord (old)

If there’s one thing you expect from Honda, it’s reliability – and the old-shape Accord is lasting well, scoring a superb ninth place. A 28th finish for build quality is impressive, too. But sadly, the saloon isn’t quite the perfect used buy. Running costs are high, while the brakes could be better. And the Accord
finished only 62nd for handling.

MANUFACTURER VERDICT

The Japanese firm always turns in a great performance – and 2008 is no different. Only Lexus offers a more reliable range, while models get the thumbs-up for build quality and practicality.
