After a big slip last year, the Fabia has clung on to 24th, and that’s a decent showing. The Skoda is proving reliable, solidly built and has low running costs. There’s praise for the engines, too, and while the handling may not get the thumbs-up, the Fabia is easy to drive. No less than 77 per cent of owners say that they would buy the same model again.
