There's no doubt about it – few cars can compete with the Yaris for build quality or reliability. However, you don’t rate the performance – perhaps it’s the increase in size that’s taken the edge off here. There’s another thumbs-down for running costs, but you love the practicality-enhancing sliding rear seat, sharper handling, strong brakes and cushioned ride.
