The Mustang isn't only part of the American dream. Constant references to the legendary muscle car in songs and movies have made it an object of desire all around the world. For those countries which drive on the left, though, there has always been a big problem in the way of fulfilling the fantasy - the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

It is a bigger problem for the Aus-tralians, as it is illegal to register a left-hand-drive car down under. However, the Aussies weren't going to let this get in the way, so Ford's division there has begun converting Stateside-built Mustangs to right-hand drive - and the car is set to come to the UK.
