    Thanks to the painstaking efforts of BMW, the new MINI has been a huge success. But excellent engineering takes time, and the two-year wait for an official soft-top version may be too long for some. If you simply must have the wind in your hair and are willing to dig deep, the Bespoke Car Group's conversion is an immediate way to attract jealous looks. The power of a Cooper or the sportier S will improve on-the-road thrills and, for the time being at least, you'll be the envy of every sun-seeking MINI driver in Britain.
