If proof of this is needed, take the recently facelifted S80 as an example. The 5-Series rival's handsome looks and road presence make you feel as special

FIRST OPINION

    Thanks to a raft of improvements and a wide engine range which sees the 2.4-litre turbo unit offered for the first time, the S80 is now firmly established as a real threat to the likes of BMW and Mercedes. Good to drive, comfortable over long distances and competitively priced, it's little wonder that this Volvo's fan club is growing all the time.
