Thanks to 210Nm of torque and a power-to-weight ratio of more than 300bhp per tonne, the Sport 2000 covers 0-60mph in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of 132mph. Power is delivered evenly across the rev range, making the pace easily accessible. The only disappointing part of the drivetrain is the long-throw five-speed gearbox.
The Sport 2000 comes in component form for £17,250, but the factory-built car is £20,670. Compared to other rivals, the Westfield looks a bargain. British sports car buyers should make room on their shortlist.
