Power is delivered evenly across the rev range, making the pace easily accessible. The only disappointing part of the drivetrain is the long-throw five-speed gearbox.
The Sport 2000 comes in component form for £17,250, but the factory-built car is £20,670. Compared to other rivals, the Westfield looks a bargain. British sports car buyers should make room on their shortlist.
