It’s no secret that a 300bhp
2.0-litre turbocharged engine uses a lot of fuel and has a hefty CO2
output. But we’re not singling the Mitsubishi out for special attention
here – most cars in this class face a significant
rise in road tax costs. Later versions of the Evo IX will set you back
£440 a year. Look for earlier generations to reduce the
sting in your pocket.
