Your dealer will throw in another £3,200 on top of the £2,000 scrappage money to take the entry-level 1.4 LX hatch to just £7,995. Meanwhile the 1.6 HDI Airdream+, complete with rear parking sensors, is handed another £1,000 off, taking it down to £11,395 with scrappage.

Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 LX
The entry 1.6 LX seven-seater drops to a fiver under £10,000 thanks to another £3,000 enticement on top of the £2,000 scrappage. For more kit including cruise control, the Exclusive version of the 140bhp 1.6 THP with the EGS automated manual gearbox is down £3,000 to £18,655.

Citroen’s old-stager MPV is given a whopping £8,400 off the list price including scrappage to drop the 1.6 Desire petrol to £7,995.

The second-generation van-based people mover is discounted by another £1,390 on selected models. So combined with the scrappage money, the entry 1.6 VT drops to £7,995.

All C5s are cut by an additional £1,000 on top of the £2,000 scrappage incentive, taking the base 1.8 petrol saloon to £13,695. The cheapest diesel 1.6 drops to £14,695.
