One of the biggest winners of the scrappage challenge, Hyundai has been able to clamp down on deals and raise prices. Still some good discounts on the i30 hatch and estate however, and some dealers can manage more still.

Hyundai deals
The sheer popularity of Hyundai’s supermini has lifted prices and cut once-generous discounts, but there are still official deals. Trade in another car and there’s an extra £500 off all but the base models, while keen PCP finance offers get you into a £10,565 1.2 Edition 3dr for £175 a month over three years. Mileage limited to 6,000 a year though.
Marketplace deals
Good savings to be had at the Evans Halshaw dealer group. Formerly Reg Vardy, its showrooms have an i20 1.2 Comfort with £981 off, taking it to £9,179.

Hyundai deals
Base model, for a way-off-base price! The 1.4 Comfort is down to £10,995 thanks to saving of £1,705. Meanwhile every i30 estate is discounted by £1,200 if you’ve got a car to trade in.
Scrappage deals
More scrappage savings than ever at £3,700, but price increases have pushed up the final figure for a 1.4 Comfort by a grand to £8,995. Still a bargain though if you’ve a qualifying car to cash in before Feb 28.

Hyundai deal
Savings of between £1,850 and £2,000 on all models of Hyundai’s long-in-the-tooth Rav4 rival. Officially tied to a part-exchange deal, but shouldn’t be too hard to haggle it as a straight discount.
