The ‘widow-maker’ as it’s affectionately known is the 911 in its most potent form. And the latest generation has pushed the envelope even further – becoming the first road-going 911 to produce over 500bhp.
Take a 911 Turbo, add a second turbocharger, remove the safety net of a four-wheel drive system and strip out 145kg of weight. What’s left is the GT2. Producing 530bhp from its 3.6-litre twin-turbo engine, 0-60mph is dispatched in 3.6 seconds and the surge doesn’t stop until 204mph.
Amazingly though it still retains the 911’s everyday usability and unbreakable build-quality. But it didn’t earn its nickname for nothing, this is one Porsche that can bite back!
