Putting function before form, the high-sided Berlingo is based on the current C4 and 308 hatchbacks, but still looks more like a commercial van then a family ferry. There are a variety of offers from Citroen, but to wipe big numbers of the list price - head to the brokers.
Citroen deals
Main dealerships will give you a couple of options for financing your new Berlingo, depending on whether you can come up with an initial deposit. There is a zero-interest three year deal if you can find a 30% deposit (e.g. £3,829 for the 1.6HDi VTR, which comes with CD player and electric windows).
If however you don't want to pay anything at the start, than the 'Elect 3' deal, but the intrest rates are lower than on larger models, at just 6.9% APR typical. The mileage limit is set at 10,000 miles annually, and there's a three year servicing pack for just £199.
Marketplace deals
There are discounts to be had across the range, with all trim levels and engines getting the cost-cutting treatment from brokers. The deal below is one of the best, with the 1.6-litr HDi engine keeping residual values strong, even if it is the entry VT spec.
