The Consumer Electronics Show or CES is held each January at the Las Vegas Convention Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event has become one of the preeminent showcases for the global technology industry and as technology has increasingly crept into our cars over recent years, automotive manufacturers have been getting in on the CES act.
Car brands including Audi, BMW, Ford and Volkswagen have maintained a regular presence at CES over the last few years but technology companies large and small also display their latest in-car tech developments at the show.
New infotainment tech, operating systems, touchscreens and batteries all have a bearing on the cars we'll be driving in the future while autonomous driving and safety technology is being developed with the automotive industry specifically in mind.
CES is closed to the public but Auto Express will bring you all the latest car-related news stories and analysis coming out of the show right here...
