Chevrolet has released a single picture of its new small SUV. The Chevrolet Trax will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in September, and is set to rival the Nissan Juke and Skoda Yeti when it goes on sale early next year.
The Trax has been built on the same platform as the Vauxhall Mokka and Corsa, but has a much more rugged design to the
Mokka concept shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The chunkier styling incorporates bulging wheelarches and the Chevrolet family grille.
The Trax is expected to share the same engine line-up as the Mokka, which includes a 138bhp 1.4-litre petrol engine and a 128bhp 1.7-litre turbo diesel. Two and four-wheel drive versions will be offered.
While no details have been announced, we expect the Trax to offer similar amounts of space to the Mokka and its US sister model, the Buick Encore. The Encore has a 533-litres boot and maximum luggage space of 1,372 litres with the seats folded.
The Chevrolet Trax will go on sale in the first quarter of 2013, with prices expected to start from £15,000.

Finally Chevrolet bringing some better cars out and a wider range, But it all needs to be good in the flesh and the price needs to be right,
I quite like the look of this. Crossovers are big business now, well done Chevrolet.
As long as the interior isn't cheap tat like most chevrolets then it should do well
A LOT better than the Vaux, good job from Chevrolet for giving such a small suv such an aggressive front. How about the back though?
