Fitting a car with the 400bhp 6.2-litre V8 from a Corvette was never going to be a bad thing, and in doing so, Chevrolet has made the Camaro a capable cruiser with added bite.
At £41,525, the left-hand-drive-only Chevy is within striking distance of established premium rivals such as the Audi S5 and Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet. But the poor interior quality puts the American muscle car firmly off the pace when compared to European alternatives.
