Overall Average Rating: 86.15%
Position in the Top 100 cars: 37th

Exceptionally practical, comfortable, inexpensive to run and blessed with an easy-going ride quality, Citroen’s new C4 Picasso scores some pretty good marks, including a top 10 placing for practicality.

Unfortunately, reliability and build quality – traditional Citroen shortcomings – were poor, with performance and handling also singled out for criticism.

Manufacturer Verdict (Position: 28th)

Another disappointing showing for Citroen. It still scores on value for money, finishing in 10th place for running costs. What lets the firm down, though, is the reliability and quality of its models.

First French car I've owned, never thought I would but this car has opened my eyes. I truly find it to be a superb car, diesel engine pulls like a rocket but is more quiet and smooth than many petrol engine cars I've been in.

2 Ltr but lots of short cold runs about 90% of my motoring returns 46 MPG. Get out on the motorway, select cruise and settle down to a nice long drive in comfort and silence.
One very happy customer.

The car whilst quite easy to drive lacks feel through the steering which is best described as numb. It is a comfortable and quiet long distance cruiser, however it can be a problem to park in the city due to its size. I find its EGS gearbox easy to use and smooth changing gear, the car is economical given its size regularly returning 42-44 mpg driving in the city and 52+ mpg on the open road.

I am disabled and use hand controls. therefore need and automatic. I also need a large boot to keep my small electric scooter. This is the only car that fits my needs, but it is high on petrol costs.

Car is great and good value - I found Citroen UK after sales and service support to be poor and the only reason why I would hesitate to buy a Citroen in the future.
