Comfort, safety, visability and easy of driving are major plus points.
A large easy to use boot area, with flat split-folding rear seats are great for our use. Even 4 adults on a tour of Europe travel in comfort

Corrosion resistance on body-work good, but same cannot be said for suspension spheres, pipes and fixings, or Brake discs & calipers.

Local Dealership gives first class service, advice and is friendly, all the team know their customers by name, and use it. Costs of service and/or repair are quoted accurately, minor items are fixed on a no fee basis.

Style, comfort, cost and practicality make Citroen cars desirable.
If the quality of the vehicles, (which have improved over the years), now moved more into the longevity of the mechanicals Citroen could be up amongst the best of the manufacturers from Europe or the Far East.

The new C5 tourer is a vast improvement over the previous 3 citroen C5's I have had, the build quality is higher, there are no niggling wrattles, I chose the VTR+ which has the standard spring suspension, the previous C5 cars I drove had the hydractive 3 suspension which was excellent, but it is now only offered on the range topping model, after a 4 hour test drive covering all types of roads, I was very impressed how the car handled, plus the comfort and driving position, this made it an easy choice for me to buy.

Excellent car,extremely comfortable,best car I`ve ever had.
It was purchased at about 3 months old from Citroen retail, and had been one of their company cars.New book price was 23,999 GBP and
I got it for 16,500 GBP.Citroen service are generally good, and your vehicle gets washed, handy in these winter months.Citroen even washed it after a recent recall, cleanest it`s been since I bought it..LOL.
It`s an automatic, and a little thirsty, but comfort and ease of use BRILL!

I have had several Citroëns over the past 7 years and despite all the bad press french brands get for reliability, not one has ever let me down. The current C5 is by far the best I have had so far and is more than equal to many of the cars in the same class and I personally think better in some aspects than some perceived 'class leaders'. In terms of ride comfort, its Hydractive suspension cannot be beaten in its class.

I have to travel a lot for work. This car is ideal for eating up motorway miles. It isnt the best looking or stylish vehicle but is extremely comfortable and practical. I would thoroughly reccomend it for high mileage users as it is very cheap for the money, very comfy, doesnt loose value (as it has already lost most of it) and despite the usual car magazine reviews has chewed up 10 000 miles in 4 months without fault!

Surprising build quality and lack of road noise for a citroen. Fly wheel failure disappointing as also has this happen on a 2002 picasso. Saloon not as practical as hatch back but boot is fairly big. 1.6 diesel engine is surprisingly powerful for such a small unit. Fuel economy is good and large tank gives good range. Styling is unique and far better than Citroens of previous years.

First time I ever planned on buying a specific car, even after reading some derogatory revews. Not a sports car but more than enough power for safe overtaking on A and B roads whether unladen or full to the gunnells.Extremely comfortable and reassuring to drive(a bit nose heavy on some corners but enough warning given when my boot has been tempted by the demon gravity).

My car is brilliant, after borrowing a friends 07 reg. E class Merc , I wouldn't swap him. I would have a new C5 , except it's not as big as mine. But I wouldn't mind a very late one of the same model as mine. I run a chauffeur/private hire business and always being complimented on the ride of my car being so good. A very underestimated motor car.

Whilst it isn't the best looker, the ride quality and economy in terms of purchase price and running costs for the size of car are excellent. It is practical, comfortable, reliable and flexible and for me that is important. However i admit that it is also a Citroen and I love the Citroen brand, so maybe I am biased.

06-reg Diesel, Owner for 3 to 5 years

The best car I have ever owned, ride quality is second to none. I would consider a bigger engine on the next one, however, the deprication is higher than I would like so that means if there was no movement on the purchase price then I might look elsewhere. Overall the car has been first class.

Excellent refinement. Very little wind, road or engine noise enters the cabin. Build is impressive, the car has a very solid feel and the cabin is made of good quality materials. Car excels at log distance comfort and refinement. Diesel is economical and refined. overall a very impressive car.

Very happy, I wanted a comfortable high performance automatic and,in my C5 V6, that's what I have. It's a low mileage example, well looked after and old enough to have had any niggles sorted. I expect it to continue to be reliable for the next couple of years.

Excellent all round family car and business work hourse that can happily live on the motoray all day long and not miss a beat. I do 20,000 miles a year and overall am very happy with this car for those miles.

Economical with a comfortable ride, plenty of room inside and in the boot but the front seats are not very comfortable and poor build quality means there are plenty of rattles and squeaks as you drive.

The second variation of this car and, as before, delivers as expected. 1st service at ł325.00 (inc vat) is excessive - particularly as my 24 month mileage was less than 10,000 miles !!!

No breakdowns to date and I drove this car since new as it was my company car which I purchased on being made redundant. Only had to pay for one tyre to date and a service at ł165.
