Ferrari will be auctioning off a selection of exclusive items and memorabilia to help victims of the recent Italian earthquakes

Ferrari will open an online auction selling exclusive Prancing Horse products – including a £1million 599XX Evo – to help raise funds for the victims of the recent Italian earthquakes in the Emilia-Romagna region.

Ferrari will also be auctioning off Formula 1-related products, including a V8 engine from one of its racing cars and overalls and helmets donated by drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.

This isn’t the first time Ferrari has chosen to help out after disasters, with the Italian firm contributed more than 80million Yen following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan last year.

People interested in bidding for items should go to www.ferraristore.com during next week, when a section dedicated to the auction will go live.
