This will be a huge mistake for Fiat. About to take delivery of my third 500, I can see this will be my last. The new design looks like a Nissan Micra. Horrible.
I think someone has seen the upcoming 500X (a mini SUV launching in July), and got carried away with themselves... The "X" model is between the regular 500 and L in size, and could look very like those renderings, but that doesn't mean that the regular 500 is going to.
Car looks good to me, and I will take my second Abarth when it becomes available.
This is the new 500X coupe! The Fiat 500 is stunning concept and it's a new model for US market! Only two years! Stupid speculations! And....yes...looks horrible!!!
The current 500 is a stunning design and a brilliant balance between modern and retro. It was always going to be a tough job improving on it. To me this new design is actually a fairly subtle evolution of the current design. It's certainly not "horrible", unless you think the original is horrible. It's just more modern without the retro, which is perhaps what is upsetting people. I think it looks pretty good and I expect it to grow on me. And you've got to love that interior.
That's HEDIOUS!!!!FIAT PLEASE DON'T DO THAT!
Love the interior, it is time to join the modern digital era with great graphics in the displays. Exterior looks sharp also
Agreed this poor car looks dreadful. Fiat lost its way. I drive 500c but if this wee monstrosity is the way for the 500 to go 'forward', I move onto Audi A1, hopefully A0. Shame.
