I use my car as an instructional vehicle for learners so it's takes a bit of abuse but it does cope very well, as of 20 months old and 39000 miles the only real problem has been gear linkage cables from learners swing and heaving the gear stick, a door speaker and a steering wheel mounted stereo control button. The second service was a bit steep just over ł300. the general running costs though have remained quite small despite it's hard life, the only thing I've replaced has been tyres and brakes.

The car is very pleasing to drive, like an old mini-but unlike being in an old small car,you dont feel as vunerable as the diesel engine is quite powerfull at motorway speeds with a young family in it.....The kids love it's cute character plus go cart like handling.

I love my car, it's brilliant fun to drive, easy to handle and move in tight spaces.
Not impressed with the tyre wear, 2 new sets of front tyres in 17,000 miles and new rear brake pads and the dealer is awful, really bad after sales service.

As an owner, and fan of the original Fiat 500, I HAD to have one. It has proved to be one of the most enjoyable decisions that I have ever made. Its useful, chic and, most of all FUN, something that is missing from todays word.

Thought the service cost was alittle steep but then you have to take into account it's 2 yearly. so not so bad after all.

Problem with brakes. Fuel consumption is not as expected.
