Hmm. Looks like someone in Ford Press has sent AutoExpress photos before they were touched up.
front like fiat punto?!
This dog of a car would have been very difficult to revise sufficiently to match the wonderful Mk II model. Perhaps Ford did not even want to! And are the Swiss now also denied a four-door version with a proper boot?
Ford ford ford...what on earth are your designers thinking?! 1st the fiesta & now the focus! Well at least they both look horrendous, and not leave poor fiesta the only one beaten with the ugly pen, right?!
Much cleaner lines but arguably plainer. But it's still the top in it's class, a brilliant driving car.
Ford lost their design flair back in the mid 1980s.Back then every sales rep and middle manager loved them. Now, no one ever says they bought a Ford because of they were stylish.
Ford are trying to make the new Focus look like an Aston Martin - which it isn't. The aggressive front doesn't suit the family car.
I just love the front! Like the Audi's with a more higher but smaller centered grill. It's the back that's still has those Hyundai ugly lights!
The original Focus was a great looking car, and they hadn't matched it til now. I love this new design though. Ford are on top form with their design at the moment; both the Fiesta and the new Focus are by far the best looking cars in their class.. long may it continue!
Another pig ugly ford. The only Ford model now with half decent styling, is the good old mondeo and they managed to mess that up somewhat when they facelifted it in 2010.Their designers all need their eyes examining.
Yes thats right ugly fiesta best selling car in europe and focus best selling in the world. VERY UGLY!!!!
oh...I didn't realise the face lifted versions of these two cars were a worldwide sales success already rob!! & to clarify, for those that require it, I was referring to the new nose job of both cars...from an aesthetic point of view, the new grill design is fugly!!
Jesus, who designs these cars? ugly
yeah, for the blind..
The new front end looks better on the estate than the hatch. The hatch doesn't have the length to carry the long bonnet properly. However from a front only view, it does look much more aggressive than the current model. Glad to see they've tidied up the interior, as currently they have too many fiddly buttons.
Who likes the Wide Mouth Frog look?? Peugeot got panned for that look a few years ago. Why do Ford think it's worth bringing the gawping look back?? Very odd.
Each iteration is slightly worse than the last.
It's evolution in reverse - they started with a great car and have ended up with an ordinary one
When is it available to order?
Both it and the fiesta look like koi carp..
...Clever Focus it's a brilliant car ...Even if the designers got a bit carried away giving it a Aston Martin-ish grill hmmmmm??
