09-reg Diesel, Owner for Less than a year

My Kuga so far has proved reliable the real gripe so far is not getting the MPG (33) I would rather have key ignition to ensure every thing is switched off when stopped not the key less as fitted I have managed to flatten the battery twice once I did over night away from home it was all my fault Ford Assist was excellent I hope the MPG improves with mileage

I chose a Ford Kuga to replace a Landrover Freelander and unfortunately it's failed to come up to my expectations and proved to be a big mistake. The most irritating thing is the poor fuel consumption made worse by Auto Express regularly quoting the combined fuel consumption of 44mpg in their articles, no where near achievable.

Excellent at what it does, dissapointing economy, Ford have conned a lot of people with their published figures.
Members of the Kuga owners forum who own diesels all complain about the actual economy as opposed to Fords claims.

The Kuga is a great car, I think it's the best looking SUV on the market. It drives really well, often surprising how agile it is. My only slight disappointment is the Fual Economy not matching anywhere near what is claimed.

Great car. Looks good. Interior materials disappointing though. Seats supportive but too hard. Only a single reversing light - cost cutting??

economy not as good as claimed;
took dealer 5 months to get me the car with all the options I requested

Great for work and leisure. Tows well and AWD has been a revelation in the snow. Good drive too!

Never thought I would ever buy a Ford and apart from the fuel economy I am really impressed.

a good all rounder, lack of space inside is an issue, not a real 4wd
