Retro without being retro I like it, Modern cars need more chrome and bold bonnet's/lines they need to get back to how they were minus the chrome bumpers, solid pillars and elegant design
More chrome and tat? No!! The Dearborne Idiots need to be fired for this!! Premium branding means not something based on a cheapened rep's runabout. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the present Mondeo except that it is just plain ugly and looks too big. Just piling on the tat and "soft feel" faux leathers will not cut it - and the depreciation will be horrendous!! Vignale - wasn't that the stylist who created the Standard Vanguard back in the mid 1950's? Says it all really!!
What an ugly fruit of a car . Perhaps the yanks will like it but Europeans will avoid like the plague
The only reason the Europeans will avoid it, and especially us Brits, is because of our unfathomable fixation with anything Teutonic.
The current Mondeo is one of the best vehicles on the road, and the new one will be even better. This Vignale concept will be toned down styling wise before it reaches our shores.
