The Geneva Motor Show is one of the biggest events in the global automotive calander. Packed with major new production and concept car unveils, it gets the undivided attention of the world's car fans for a fortnight every March.
For those who fancy a trip to the Swiss capital, tickets are still available for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show which is open to the public from the 6th to the 16th of March. Press day was on March 3rd and Auto Express reported live from the show floor.
Held every year at the Geneva Palexpo, the Geneva Motor Show thrives on its proximity to Europe’s biggest carmakers. With the likes of Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, SEAT, Skoda, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault and Jaguar Land Rover treating it as the year's major motor show, there's plenty of competition for the attention of the press and public. The show halls are always packed with new cars and concepts displayed on massive show stands.
Not to be outdone, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Kia and Hyundai all make a splash at the Geneva show, too, while Ford and GM’s European brands also have plenty to shout about when the Geneva show kicks off at the beginning of March each year.
