Very happy with the Accord, excellent levels of equipment. I chose this in preference to a BMW, very glad that I did despite the BMW being very good, equipment levels just do not compare. Reliability on the Honda is first rate. Performance is phenominal for a 2.2 Diesel. Had a small problem with an audio speaker, this was fixed at service without the usual nonsense one might expect from other manufacturers. We now have 3 of these on our fleet and we are all delighted. I would recommend Honda to anyone looking to buy especially with the new diesel engine. Dealers are fantastic also, they always valet the vehicle during service.

I have owned Accords since 1990 (apart from a short time when they did not have an estate when I needed one) and this one is the best yet. It could do with a litttle more boot room and a bit more rear seating space but i would buy another in a heartbeat. I had a worn carpet - replaced instantly, and a fuel problem that took a week to find and fix but the service was fantastic and although I would prefer not to have had these problems they were resolved quickly and without complaint from dealer or Honda HQ.

It is far and away the best equipped and most reliable car I've ever had which is why I've hung onto it for so long. The only thing that lets it down is the cost of parts and servicing, but that can be lowered by not going to a main dealer. I normally change my car every 4 years, but the Accord has been absolutely fabulous in every department and I'll hang onto it for a while yet. I would recommend the Accord to anyone as the overall build quality is exceptional.

I really like my car. All the problems I have experienced and are still experiencing are associated with an accident endured a few years ago. You know the old saying, 'a car is never the same after a bump'.
I would like to mention that my local franchise dealer is operated by the Phoenix Motor Company which I do not rate at all and from whom, I will never purchase anything from in the future.

Far less reliable than I'd hoped. Minor problems (EGR, alternator, clutch master cylinder and handbrake) have resulted in 9 weeks off the road in 4 years from new. I own a statistical outlier!
Still looks and drives pretty much like new on 98k miles though, so it's not all bad. I don't think Honda get much practice fixing them - the AA and the dealer always look confused as it's trucked in.

The Honda Accord is one good mid-size sedan.
The car is really reliable and here in snowy Chicago, it is very stable even if there are thick snow mounds on the road.
The engine is 2.4 L but the acceleration is really good. It is runs like a sports sedan!

My Honda Accord is by far the best overall car I have ever owned - spacious, well equipped, easy to drive, great performance and economy, reliable and reasonable to upkeep oh and Honda dealers are the best I've ever encountered.

Superbly reliable. Never broken down or failed its MOT in the 9 years I've had the car and have only ever done a basic service once a year at home (engine oil, air & oil filters, spark plugs change only).
