Overall, I'm very happy with my Hyundai i20. I bought it knowing the brand was classed as being a 'budget make', but had read many articles (including Autocar's review), praising the new model line-up. I was particularly surprised at the amount of standard equipment and nice little additional details you normally only find on more expensive cars. For instance - exterior lights that automatically switch off when you lock the car, an interior light that activates when you unlock the car and stays on until the car is started, an extremely high quality audio system (with 6 speakers). The performance, ride and handling is not class leading, but the Hyundai is still pleasing and entertaining to drive, complemented with very good fuel economy figures. Overall, I believe Hyundai have become a serious contender in the small car sector - and as a contract engineer, currently working for Ford Motor Co., I must say........Fiesta beware!!

Excellent value for money, good dealer service and lots of equipment. The ride could be better but the space offered is better than many small cars.

Very good apart from roughness of ride over any surface other than a perfect one.
