Not as stylish as some but by no means ugly. Makes up for it in practicality, build quality, safety equipment and ultimately value for money. It has a willing 1.2 litre engine and drives well. Over 4 months and 2,500 miles the only disappointments have been the much poorer than expected fuel economy at only 42 mpg. (Hyundai claim 54 mpg) and a rather vague feel to the clutch engagement when starting off. I have not yet put Hyundai's customer service or servicing costs to the test but the 5 year warranty is re-assuring.
Overall despite being a car puchased "with my head rather than my heart", it has proven to be a perfectly satisfying car to drive.

For the money I paid and the size/type of the car I think it's superb. Nippy, spacious hatchback and European styling. Old Hyundai's look really cheap and tacky, but I think they have really gone out with this i20 (and i30). I don't think i20 is any worse than Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa, which one would pay extra just for the brand. I test drove Corsa before settling on Hyundai and never have looked back!

A great car for the two of us as we don't do that many miles now. The heaters and blowers are ineffective when you just want to have it on your feet as the wind screen and side windows keep misting up. The advertised fuel economy is very misleading as we have done nearly 3000 miles and even keeping under 70mph we are getting nowhere near the savings.

Great reliable car with good MPG, The level of equipment is good with many features that come as standard. And with Hyundai's 5 year warranty im pleased as punch with my purchase.
