It is a very good cheap car but the true fuel consumption being achieved is very disappointing. It is even less than the on board computer is showing. Once I had decided to take up the government scheme I spent a long time looking at mpg and equipment levels before selecting the i30, however, it would appear it was all in vain as the real world mpg figures for this 1.4 engine are causing me concerns.
It is about time the farcical CO2 & mpg figures were changed to reflect real world conditions.

I absoutly love this car, It does everything I ask of it, and I got such a good deal on the car (in1 year not lost on it) I realy have not got so involved in car by joining an owners club since my XR2 in 1983 ! Never thaught I would be a Hyundai owner but so far it has been great and the first new car iv'e bought that in the first 12m has not gone wrong.

I am amazed at what a car of this price has to offer in terms of "taken for granted" reliability, space and equipment. My fuel consumption is as advertised, 50plus mpg. This has never happened before in 50 plus years of motoring. A great car, as were the two Santa Fe models before it.

A delightful surprise.
A lesser known brand but what a car. Looks sporty. It's quick, drives so easily and sips fuel. Now 5 people in my small estate have one, so for the first time I'm a trendsetter.

the hyundai I30 is a very good all round car.reliable,comfortable and good to drive.Economy with the 1.6 diesel is excellent and the performance is outstanding.Ride and handling are very good.

The Hyundai i30 is excellent value. The spec excellent for a car of that price. The safety features are excellent some you would only find on the higher range car. It also looks good.

Splendid piece of Korean engineering. Pity there have been some warranty failures which are still outstanding, but overall a very nice drive and great economy from a well-built car

The Hyundai i30 is a great package all round. It has many features fitted as standard that you'd have to pay extra for on many other makes/models in this catagory.
