It is very comfotable and smooth. Economy is incredible for an automatic 4x4. Average 34 mpg.
On a long journey on M6 motoway I set the cruise control to 55 mph. and recorded 52.2 mpg. over a 11 mile run. My return journey included recorded 46.4 mpg. Incredible ! Every time I drive this car it makes me feel "it's goog to be alive". I could never beleive that a Korean car could be so well made. It is a very underated car, and I can't ever see me changing it .

Have been very pleased with the car and, in particular, dealer (Colley Motors, Cwmbran). Tyres fitted on car have been exceptionally good. Everything about the car has been great, with the exception of the pathetic radio (with cassette!).
We are contemplating buying another new Santa Fe but waiting to see the ix35.

Been very reliable and manufacturers warranty has never been a quibble if I have returned it for faults. Mainly tyres are expensive now its out of warranty I dont use the manufacturer I use a smae garage which is very reliable and not so expensive for parts and services.

Had one problem when it was 6 months old but nothing else in 2yrs 6mths. On some main road/country road journeys and motorways can reach 47mpg - town driving about 36 to 38-I think that is quite good for the size/weight of the vehicler.

No problems whatsoever in nearly three years of ownership. Official 39.2 mpg but get approx 34 mpg in mixed driving. high thirties on sedate motorway cruise. servicing costs extortionate. ł400 for twelve months motoring is too much.

Everything works, always starts, never let us down. Bought the car to tow cravan. obviously towing goes down to 25mpg, but for 2.4 petrol average 30mpg for normal use is acceptable..

Good vehicle for a soft roader. Few niggless with the dealership treating the customer like an idiot. They forget that some people actually do know what they are talking about!!

Aircon is abit weird sometimes and the rear luggage cover is not the best design. Fuel is ok if you stick to motorways but town driving sees the mpg drop very quickly.

Nothing has gone wrong. Knew it would be thirsty with big petrol engine and auto gearbox. worth paying for the wonderfully smooth and well equipped car.

Clutch went after only 65,00 miles. new timing belt after 35,000. Can watch the petrol gauge going down on urban driving.
