Whilst styling isn't as sharp as some of its peers the car is very practical, spacious & comfortable. Materials used could be of better quality, mainly plastics. The parking brake is poor. Some of the switchgear could be better placed & the fascia could be more interesting. Fuel consumption not too good when driving aroud locally, especially in winter but improves a lot on a long steady run. My biggest niggle is that at this time of year (mostly) , all the front windows condensate really badly & even freeze when weather is below zero. Dealers cannot find cause & Kia UK does not admit to any known problem. Also, other than normal service parts, if a part needs replacing, the dealers never seem to have them in stock which always entails a return trip which is very annoying especially as I don't have a dealer close by.
Having said all that, this car is extremely good value for money, does everything well & assuming next model is a bit more cutting edge then I would definitely consider buying another especially as they come with a 5 year guarantee.
