Was there ever an obvious, corporate design 'signature' that you could easily trace between a Miura, Espada and Countach ? In the odd detail, perhaps: but each design looked like that it had just arrived from Outer Space. They were clearly not Ferrari and very clearly Italian and....well......very Lamborghini.
I fear that the look of the Huracan - especially the frontal treatment - is so very closely linked to the Gallardo and Murcielago that it's (dare I say it ?) a little formulaic, boring and positively predictable. Lambos don't need to adhere to such a tight identity, do they ? They've hardly got the BMW kidneys to consider or Audi's Avus grille.
So, I'm disappointed with the timidity from a manufacturer that can boast such an outrageous and challenging design history. Whilst I appreciate the steadying hand of Audi corporate management surely Lambo's design department can come up with something superior than 'generic supercar'.......
Absolutely gorgeous..... Lamborghini never dissapoint. I just wish they would produce something that we could at least PROBABLY afford, and not just dream about. Something desireable and pretty, like the Mercedes - Benz CLA or the Alfa - Romeo 4C..... Please? #waitingpatiently
Would you turn that away if it was handed to you????
Danny, I wouldn't turn away a pint of beer if it were offered....nor a Kia Picanto.....So, your point being ?
i meant, why dislike a great car if nobody but a few millionaires could afford it?then again, who would ever turn away a car
I find it looks dramatic myself, certainly a design worthy of arty farty words! Maybe it's what buyers want? Look at McLaren, they are developing a design language, and so has Ferrari to an extent.
