I have the TDv8 version, economy is better than I ever expected and I average in excess of 30mpg even in day to day driving which is much better than the previous 2.7ltV6 engined Sport I owned before this one.
Disappointed that Land Rover resolutely refuse to acknowledge there there is a problem with all cars fitted with their clever hydraulic anti-roll bar system which causes rattles from the front suspension as the bushes are too soft and wear out quickly. They refuse to fix this under warranty after the first time that a dealer replaces the bushes which is shocking for a £50000+ car. Too many below par service outlets and some dealers are worse than useless, but the good ones are excellent
